A photo shows a standard all-wood Northrup primary fitted with a converted 25 HP Henderson motorcycle engine. This is the same powerplant that was used in the famous Heath Parasol. Since the engine was mounted in front, the pilot had to be moved aft under the rear spar in order to preserve the balance. This ship flew quite well-too well, in fact. The Owner, Carl Dun, was killed while stunting it. He stalled out at the top of a loop, and the landing wires.[Soaring 1956]
