| Infos techniques | The Go-50/II second design featured a boxy fuselage with a conventional tail mounted on a fuselage boom. It extended over the rear loading ramp, which hinged down and was fitted with a standard fin/rudder and tailplanes. The tapered wing was also shoulder mounted, and the landing gear was attached to the fuselage and braced off to the wings via struts. As in the first design, a two man crew was planned for the Go P.50/II. |
| Histoire résumée | En 1939 suite à un appel du RLM (Reich Luft Ministerium), pour un planeur militaire susceptible de transporter 12 hommes et leurs bagages, Alfred Kalkert avait dessiné deux appareils répondant à cette demande : le Go-50/I (planeur canard) et le Go-50/II plus conventionnel. Mais l'appareil ne fut pas construit et le projet n'eut pas de suite.Mais ensuite Kalkert a dessiné le Gotha-Kalkert Ka-430 qui devait beaucoup au Go-50/II. |
