Histoire résumée | The all-fiberglass two-place self-launching HOAC ( formerly Hoffmann) Dimona features a folding wing design which allows two people to fold both wings in several minutes and reduce the aircraft hanger space requirement to no more than that of a sailplane trailer. The Limbach engine drives a Hoffmann 2 blade, 3 position propeller. The Hk 36 Super Dimona has the wing span increased to 16.2 m. with carbon fiber spar and modified fuselage. It is also offered with wingtip extensions to give a span of 17.6 m. Approach control is with top surface Schempp-Hirth type airbrake. In addition to the Limbach, it is offered with a Rotax 912 A of similar power, or a more powerful Limbach L 2400 EB. Dimonas have been manufactured in Germany and Austria. ATC |
